I am a Clinical Social Worker with a license to practice in North Carolina. I received my Masters
Degree in Social Work from Bryn Mawr School of Social Work and Social Research. I also
completed a certificate program at Bryn Mawr on the topic of Child and Adolescent Therapy.
While in school, I interned for the State of Delaware and worked in the Aid to Dependent Families program. I was honored to receive an award from the state for helping a number of people who became gainfully employed and were no longer in need of state services. My undergraduate degree, a B.A. in Behavioral Science was earned from Neumann University in Aston, Pennsylvania with magna cum laude distinction.
For several years prior to attending graduate school, I was a stay at home mother caring and advocating for my daughter who is both deaf and blind. I worked as a School Counselor/Social Worker in Catholic Schools in Delaware from 1992-2011 and left because of a move to North Carolina.
During the time of 1992-2002, I worked one day a week in the Mental Health Clinic for the State of Delaware. I also worked part-time at a psychiatric office and increased my time there after leaving the State of Delaware employment.
Since moving to North Carolina, I worked for one year at Catholic Charities in an outpatient setting. I also worked for seven years in a practice in Cary, North Carolina and recently began my own private practice in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
